Stopped in the notable Roscoe Diner for breakfast. The inside was cozy and had that classic diner feel. Our server had a bright and welcoming personality and took our orders in a timely manner. Our food came out extremely quickly. I ordered the western omelette, which came with toast and home fries. It was all delicious.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and stopped in for lunch. This place is absolutely in the middle of no where so this is by far the best restaurant around by default. There are many signs saying it's so great and highly rated so standards are immediately high. In my opinion it is a good spot.. but not amazing. Just a good diner to stop at. Nothing too great to see or take a picture of, the staff was quick and seemed like a bunch of local college kids working side shifts. For food i ordered a burger and again it was good... but not great. My friends had similar reactions so 4 stars is being generous.

Absolutely great service and a wonderful experience in this historic Roscoe Diner! The food was fantastic and delivered very quickly despite being so busy. This is a classic diner with plenty of seating. They also offer charging stations for your EV while you dine. I highly recommend.

Famous diner. It is really just normal diner. Our waitress was great. She knew exactly what is going with our food! Meatloaf sandwich was really good.

Meet me at the Roscoe Diner! Sat at the counter and the woman that was my server seemed to be having a rough day. She was very pleasant, but I could tell there was some staffing issues and food wasn't coming out of the kitchen quickly. That being said, my food came out in a reasonable time, eggs and sausage were good and I told her so. People who expect everything to be perfect every time bug me. They bug me a lot. I was grateful that the Diner was open and I had a place to eat. I wish the Diner the best!

The Roscoe Diner is well known for many reasons, mainly because it sits in the middle of nowhere in a rural area with its own restaurant, and nothing else, located directly off Route 17 (future I-86), making it extremely convenient for travelers, including, college students, locals, even fishermen, and vacation travelers, etc. We were seated upon entering, not too busy, and had great customer service. There were enough workers that kept the flow going, and it was perfect considering the time. The menu has a variety to offer, and they do have an all-day breakfast for those who love it. The chicken wrap parm caught my eye, which I personally never heard of, and its flavor was tasty and cooked right. I was impressed by how it came out. The atmosphere is touching, and the interior definitely speaks for itself, old school and original. I'm sure it had its renovation here and there. I find it pretty cool how they have college banners hanging all over the place. Been open since the 1960s, and it's famous for a reason - get to it!!

Was in the area for a mini weekend away from the city so we came for lunch on a Monday. When we arrived, there were a good amount of people already dining and more came as we ate and left. We ordered the fried french toast, a burger, and a monte cristo sandwich. The portions of everything was huge - everything tasted decent, like what diner foods should taste like. The fried french toast was really thick but pretty desirable the first few bites. Then it got a bit too heavy. One order comes with three pieces, we ate just 1 and took two to go. The burger my husband ordered was huge- I didn't try but he said it was decent. The monte cristo I ordered was ham and turkey sandwiched between slices of french toast with a thick slab of melted cheese on top. It was HEAVY. I ate half and couldnt finish the rest. Overall, food was you typical diner food- we didnt go in expecting much so certainly did not come out disappointed. The interior of the diner reminds me a lot of the Hilary Duff version of Cinderella ha. Lots of college flags up on the walls around the entire diner.

My boyfriend and I were traveling upstate and stopped here for dinner. It is famous for being the middle point of NYC and Western NY. I ordered the Happy Waitress sandwich. It's a classic and one of my favorite things at a diner...grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Simple, yes....but absolutely delicious. It came with fries and a pickle. While looking over the menu I noticed on the menu "French Fry Corner." It had different types of loaded fries on the menu. I ended up upgrading my fries to pizza fries. These fries were topped with the most delicious marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. SO DELICIOUS. The marinara was chunky and full of flavor. Definitely not out of a jar. My boyfriend ordered the Open Reuben Burger. It was a burger topped with corned beef, pastrami, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. He also opted for a side of breakfast sausage as diner breakfast sausage hits different. He also upgraded his fries. He went with Mediterranean fries. These fries were out of this world delicious! The fries came topped with feta, tomatoes, kalamata olives, basil, mozzarella cheese and a pesto Mayo. The flavor combinations were magical. To upgrade to the speciality fries was only a $1.14 upcharge! For everything and a soda the bill came out to $33. Not bad at all and very reasonable. Definitely stop here in your travels!
